Indonesia is a nation containing more that 16oo Islands.  This means there are hundreds of amazing Scuba Diving sites to explore.   Some of the best Dive places include:
1000 Islands near Jakarta
Bali
Manado, Sulawesi
Komodo National Park, Flores
Raja Ampat, Papua
Wakatobi, Sulawesi
Pulau Weh, Sumatra
Gili Islands, Lombok

One thing that makes Scuba diving around Indonesia is the geography.  The water and Islands create very diverse ecosystems.

Bali

Bali

Truly one of the most amazing places in Indonesia.  Bali ranges from exciting night life, peaceful sight seeing, to world class diving.  If you run out of activities in Bali, which you can't, then nearby other islands to explore.

Lombok (great if you want relax away from busy life)
Flores Islands (Komodo National park and home of the Komodo Dragon) 

Monkey in Padang

Padang

Padang is located in West Sumatra between the Kerinci Seblat National park and the Indian Ocean.  The area is mountains that slopes to the ocean giving both beach and mountain experience.  Padang is a exciting area with amazing mountain towns, tea fields, hiking, beaches, and more.
The Padang area is home of the amazing Padang beef disk; a combination of many spices and slow cooked beef.  This dish can be found everywhere in Indonesia.

There are many small town in the mountain and ocean area to explore.


Bukittinggi City

About 2 hours from Padang you can find Bukittinggi City.  This city is in to mountains sitting a the base of two non-active Volcanoes.  This is a quite city that has the lost in time feel
