South Jakarta is a active part of the city. Areas such as Bloc M and Kemang are filled with great restaurants, bars, and clubs. South JKT is a mix of business districts and mid income housing.
SCBD (Sudirman Central Business District) is located in the South Jakarta area. This well known district is 45 hectares of mixed usage land consisting of condominiums, office buildings, hotels, shopping, malls, and entertainment centers. Some of the buildings are connected by underground walk ways.
